Okay, okay, I admit it: I just added Love Comes Softly to my Nexflix queue. Lest you be too horrified, just know that I did because it stars Izzie. We'll see how it goes, and maybe even Love's Enduring Promise. (Okay, I'll admit this too: I loved, loved the books as a young teen. Loved.) I just don't think I'll ever be able to bring myself to do The Bride of Chucky, though.
I loved the books too, Renae, but I'm afraid the movie is bad, bad, bad. I think I cried anyway, though.
I would have to agree with Kate, the movies are ... less than spectacular. But I was bored when I found them on my roommate's shelf, and thus they served their purpose of entertainment. I also didn't expect to see January Jones pop up in Love's Enduring Promise.
I've seen it ... I cried ... the film production could easily be ripped apart in critique ... easy ... I have no idea how I came to see it ... just that I was at my daughter's house ... maybe it was hers.
i've never read the book ... but the story line ... i loved the story line ...
AND AND AND it absolutely has the best "how to trick a child into thinking reading could be a good thing" episode I've ever seen.
Hmmm I think I'll go play with my NetFlix que.
